Year Two - Extra

9 Freehand machine embroideries and 5 pen and ink drawings, created using red thread on white fabric. Each presented on white mountboard on an ebony-stained backboard.
Occasionally, when I am doing my daily stitching, rather than just doing one for the day, I instead do two or three daily stitchings. One of the daily stitchings from each day is added into my full years archive of daily stitching. Here are the extra daily stitchings created in year one – 14 in total. As with the daily stitch drawings that comprise the main archive, these are each titled with the date of completion on the reverse and signed, but also marked ‘Extra’ to indicate that the piece falls outside of the main archive.
Each stitching/drawing - 10cm wide x 15cm high x 1 cm deep
