Each day I create one small, quick and loose stitching - they capture my feelings, mood and the moment in time in which they are created. These 31 hand drawn artworks were the start of this aspect of my practice - they came about due to me not having access to a sewing machine for a few days, but I felt like my creative ‘itch’ needed to be ‘scratched’, so I created a small series of drawings using a zigzag pattern. When I got back to the sewing machine, I then translated this loose style back into stitch which was the start of my daily stitch journey. These drawings were created throughout October 2023.
