The edition comprises two sets of 20 hand finished embossed prints. 

The first set is a complete set of 20 prints - each print is wrapped in an acid-free glassine protective sleave, the 20 are then housed in a hand-finished pen and ink wrapper which is then boxed within a handmade linen covered presentation box. 

The second set of 20 prints are sold individually. 

Due to the nature of hand-finishing, the two sets have slight variations between them. Drip patterns from the reverse of 20 back boards were used as the inspiration for the two sets - i.e., print number one from each set is based on the same drip pattern from a single backboard, etc, etc,. They are therefore from an edition of two but each print is unique.

The JPR_Stitch prints are created directly from his unique free-hand embroideries. The artist firstly creates a small embroidery on his sewing machine and then uses this as the printing plate. The prints feature one deckled edge (bottom). As each print is hand-printed, there are very slight nuances between them. Due to the embossing process the print may also have a slight wave or undulation in the paper.
