For years, I wanted to create art, but struggled to find the time or discipline to make it happen – life just took over. Daily practice was the catalyst for change. I now create each day and have done so for four years. I have gone from dreaming about being an artist, to it becoming my reality, my life, my identity. Daily practice was my key.

‘ONE A DAY, EVERY DAY’ is two books in one –

From one side, it is your ‘Daily Practice Handbook’ where you can embark on your own daily practice. There is one page for you to use each day for one year - to draw, to write, to document. Use the daily page as your space to turn your passions or ambitions into your daily practice. There is a guide to what daily practice means and some tips on how you can begin to form a daily practice.

Reverse the book and from the other side, the book shares my daily practice – there is an introduction to my creative practice followed by my first year’s ‘daily stitch drawings’ where I created a small daily piece of art that reflected my mood and emotions (a practice that I still continue).

This book is your handbook to help you use daily practice as a vehicle to move your aspirations into your reality.
